This is an assemblage of poems written in expression of my feelings during pivotal times. The first four poems were composed within a year, at a time when I felt the need to communicate my thoughts about the events surrounding our life. My writings were not completed in any particular order, only during moments of reflection or contemplation.

Once Lost, was written to explain the thoughts I was feeling as I struggled with my own transgression and my gravitation back toward my religious roots. My Destiny tells of my yearning for a companion to share my life. A soul mate I truly believe was destined to be by my side in this world, and beyond. The Sign relates our story of how my wife, and I decided to pursue adoption as a means of completing our family.

I wrote Doorways after pondering the many avenues that never came to fruition, and the realization that my life, despite numerous blockades and alternate courses, had been led to the most suitable location for me and my family.Our Gift is a brief account of our infertility saga, and the joyous revelation of conception. Our Little Man, and Sam I Am are dedicated to my two beautiful boys, whom God miraculously delivered to us despite the doctors proclamations that we would not conceive on our own.

I hope to expand on this collection during my journey with my friend, wife, and soul mate. I hope to continue exploring writing as a means of expressing my self during both the good, and difficult times.
