I think that one of the most rewarding aspects of being an artist is to paint a portrait of someone's cherished loved one. Knowing that my work was commissioned through an act of love for another can be a deeply moving experience. It is gratifying seeing the recipients face when I reveal the finished product. My life has been blessed to have been navigated into a position where I come in contact with so many people. It is through these relationships that have afforded me the privilege to paint many of my portraits. I genuinely hope to continue in this process, to grow as an artist, and share my gift with as many as possible.
