I have always gravitated toward drawing. In fact, it seemed to come easy to me. I can remember spending countless hours as a child immersed in fantasy worlds of my own imagination. My subject was similar to that of most kids my age. It included dragons, knights, maps of distant realms, aliens and spaceships. It was an escape from reality and it was there that I found contentment. Drawing dominated my early childhood and adolescent years. I always felt that I would do something creative with my life.

I started drawing seriously about ten years ago. Early on my interest gravitated toward portraits. I especially enjoy rendering children because their expressive nature and truly genuine emotions. My portrait subjects range from all walks of life and all ages. At times I will even delve into the animal kingdom for material. I have been commissioned to paint several pet portraits for friends and family. You may also see some portraits of primates, which I enjoy because their expressions are quite human like.

I believe that I have God given talent that needs to be challenged. I continue to work in the field of portrait drawing as a means of expressing myself artistically.

For the last ten years I have continued to nurture my creativity believing that my gift needed to be explored and shared with others.
